Global traffic data has been evaluated in relation to the coverage of ENC and eleven specific ship routes, representative for global merchant shipping, have been analyzed in further detail. Overall, the ENC coverage was found to be extensive, with 82 ? 94% coverage for SOLAS ships, and 28 ? 100% coverage along selected routes.
