Rail transport will play a leading role in this area. In this context, it is important to ensure appropriate technical and operational parameters along the entire length of the Polish part of the TEN-T network. In the immediate vicinity of Gdynia this means the comprehensive modernisation of the railroad line no. 201. The most frequently mentioned parameters include the speed of goods trains, useful lengths of station tracks and permissible axle loads. Far too little attention is paid to the issue of traffic safety at the numerous rail-road crossings located on the line. This is an especially important subject for the residents of areas adjacent to the line, especially in the context of a radical increase in rail traffic.}, doi = {10.12716/1001.15.04.24}, issn = {2083-6473}, publisher = {Gdynia Maritime University, Faculty of Navigation}, keywords = {Port of Gdynia, Traffic Safety, Trans-European Transport Networks TEN-T, Hinterland of Port, Safety of Rail-Road Crossings, Rail-Road Crossings, Rail Traffic, Transport Problems} }
